Recent snow event was Monday, the 23rd January. The high snowfall totals caught most by surprise as the storm intensified for a bit during the mid morning hours. Southern New England received 6-10" of fresh snow after meteorologists predicted a little less. A peaceful snowfall as no winds were gusting during this event. Hooksett, NH received 8.00" from this storm.

As you can see, we have had just one big storm to date, well
below the season average. Most of the amounts are just from cold fronts
as they moved quickly through the area, brining a little snow with them.
The ski resorts have had tough sledding as it has
been even too warm to make artificial snow. Most of the large wet storms
to move through the area have brought unseasonably
mild temperatures with them, providing us with an usually high rainfall amount
this season.
